TOPIC: BE PATIENT, GOD HAS NOT ABANDONED YOU.
TOPIC: BE PATIENT, GOD HAS NOT ABANDONED YOU.
TEXT: GENESIS 26:1-5, 12-14, 15-33
Definition:
- This is the ability to accept delay, suffering, or annoyance without complaining or becoming angry.
- Generally, patience is the ability to stay calm while you’re waiting for an outcome that you need or want.
Biblically, to be Patient is the ability to endure difficult people and situations without giving into anger or giving up hope. Because God continues to show us patience when we are doing disappointing things, we can show others patience when they disappoint us.
What to understand:
- Understand that God sees everything in the secret place.
- Understand that in all things God has the final say.
- Understand that every challenging period has an expiring date.
- Understand that whatever you are facing now your God is in it with you.
- Understand that this challenging situation of life you are facing now will soon come to an end and your situation will soon change for better.
- Understand this: thus says the Lord, it is your turn to laugh.
- Understand that those who hate you today will come and bow in your presence tomorrow; it will soon come to pass. Be patient.
- Understand this: Thus says the Lord, in the farming of your Isaac, your Isaac shall be blessed in Jesus name. Don’t lose hope.
- Understand this; just has God enlarged the coast of Isaac in the time of farming, in this time of recession, your coast shall be enlarged in the name of Jesus.
What to do:
- You must obey the voice of God in your life always.
- You must keep God in charge. (Heed to God’s directives).
- You must keep the Commandments of God always.
- You must always hold the status of God almighty without compromise.
- You must follow the laws of God in all the journeys of your life, and these laws must not depart from you ever.
Conclusion:
Remember, you are a child of God no matter what you are experiencing today, God’s plan for you will never fail, it will come to pass.
Therefore be strong, be encouraged, don’t give up, don’t lose hope don’t be discouraged don’t put on the face of shame, don’t be negative in your thoughts, always put on smiling, shining and happy face.
This is because in this situation you find yourself, your Jesus still loves you and He will get you out of it soonest. He did it for Isaac, He will do yours in Jesus Mighty Name.
Read Isaiah 43:18-21.
