TOPIC: RETURN TO GOD IN YOUR CALLING

Introduction:
Every Christians are saved for different tasks. We are called to fulfill one assignment or the other. There is a call to return back to the assignment that God has called us to do, not returning to the Church doing nothing.

This Assignment talks about the great commission (Preaching of the Word and Winning Souls for the Kingdom).

The Call for special duty:
1. All Christians are called to be Missionaries

2. Some are called to be:
A. Prophets
B. Teachers
C. Pastors
D. Apostles
E. Evangelists

3. The most important call is the call to be A SOUL WINNER.

Are you are Soul Winner?

Things that make one to be far from God:
1. Wrong desire
2. Lack or Loss of Faith
3. Pleasure of the World – 1Tim 4:1
4. Associating oneself with unbelievers
5. Anger (with Pastor, Pastor’s wife, Deacons, Departmental leaders, fellow members, etc)
6. Gossip and Murmuring in the Church

How to return back to God
1. Self Discovery – Isaiah 6:1-6 (Vision of Isaiah – Isaiah 6:1-7)

2. Accept your fault

3. Confess your shortcomings

4. Accept Jesus back into your life

5. Serious and genuine prayer life – Luke 5:16, Luke 9:28

6. Dedicated Service unto God

7. Constant Bible Study – 2Tim 2:15

8. Take Church activities serious

9. Do not despise the Fellowship/gathering of the brethren – Heb 10:25

10. Readiness in doing God’s work

11. Always ready for the work of the Mission and be a soul winner – 2Tim 4:1-5

Conclusion:
God is calling me and you to return back to Him. How long are we going to dodge from the assignment God have committed into our hands? – Book of Joel 2:28
