ENTERING THE REALM OF GLORY AND ENLARGEMENT

TOPIC: ENTERING THE REALM OF GLORY AND ENLARGEMENT
TEXT: GENESIS 26:12-14; EXODUS 33:18-20; JOHN 1:14.
Genesis 26:12-14
12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.
13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:
14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.
Exodus 33:18-20
18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
John 1:14
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Definitions:
Glory: It simply talks about God’s presence in the life of man, God’s honour towards man and God’s favour towards that power of God that manifest in the life of man through the help of the Holy Ghost.
Enlargement: The word “ENLARGEMENT” means expansion, to increase, to grow in size both spiritually, numerically, physically, materially and financially and getting enlarged on every sides.
How to enter into Glory and enlargement in Christ:
By being saved (Our Salvation). Matthew 11:28-30; John 1:12; John 3:18
Matthew 11:28-30 – 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
John 1:12 – 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
By living the life of humility (learn to humble yourself) . 2 Chronicles 7:14
2 Chronicles 7:14 – 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
By having the spirit of forgiveness (don’t pocket people in your heart – Letting go). Matthew 6:9-13
Matthew 6:9-13 – 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
By prayer and supplication. (build a strong prayer life) Philippians 4:6,19
Philippians 4:6,19 – 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:19 -19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
By sacrifice (be sacrificial in all you do this year). Genesis 22:10-13
Genesis 22:10-13 – 10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. 11 And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. 12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
a) In form of commitment.
b) In your service to God (in the house of God and the work of God).
c) In form of Sowing (be a giver this year – i. In your offering, ii. Tithing. iii. Seed sowing etc).
Through the power of the Holy Spirit (you need Him for effectiveness in the service of God ). Luke 4: 14-21; Acts 1:8
Luke 4: 14-21 – 14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. 16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. 20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
Practical Examples
1. Hannah’s Prayer – 1 Samuel 1:13 (13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.)
2. Saul and his madness – 1 Samuel 16:23 (23 And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.)
3. Samson and the jaw of an ass. Judges 15:13-15 (13 And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock. 14 And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands. 15 And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.)
Conclusion:
This year is a year of Enlargement. It is your year of shinning Glory.
I decree in this year, your Glory will shine, you will enjoy Enlargement in Jesus name.
Read Psalm 110:1-4
110 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
