AND YE SHALL DECREE A THING
TOPIC: AND YE SHALL DECREE A THING
Text: Job 22:28; Matthew 18:18; Proverbs 18:21
Job 22:28 – 28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
Matthew 18:18 – 18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Proverbs 18:21 – 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Definitions
1. A decree is an official order issued by a legal authority, for a degree to officially (that is to be executed), the person issuing the decree must have the authority or the right to pronounce the order.
2. Biblically this is a predetermined purpose of God with the purpose of determination of an immutable being, whose plan of operations is likely Himself, unchangeable.
3. In a simple word, to issue an authoritative command in the name of Jesus.
Note: When you say I decree, you are clearly, firmly and publicly giving an order against whatever you are decreeing about in Jesus name.
What happens when we decree in Jesus’ name
1. The demons bow – Matthew 5:1-6
Anywhere the name of Jesus is being mentioned, demons must bow, for the Bible says at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow. I decree, whatever power, whatever demon that is influencing your life and family, today they shall bow in Jesus name.
2. Powers of darkness gives way – Colossians 1:13-16: (13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:)
At the mention of the name of Jesus, every powers of darkness give way; they shall clear on your road. I decree this morning, every power, every forces that are tormenting you or influencing your life, creating evil before you, let them clear by fire in the name of Jesus.
3. Miracles take place – John 11: 43-44: (43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.)
Today let miracle begin to follow you, let signs and wonders become your portion, I release you into the realm of the miraculous in Jesus name.
4. Deliverance takes place:
God naturally loose you from every yoke and deliver you from every bondage of the enemy. I decree as you enter the realm of the miraculous this morning, receive your deliverance in Jesus name.
5. You find solution to that problem in your life – Isaiah 55:11 (11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.)
God is a God of solution in Him we get solution to all problems of life. I release solution today into your life and destiny in Jesus name.
6. By decree you influence the order of events – Job 22:28 (28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.)
Everything in this life obeys the voice of God when you deeply give a decree. Order of event changes for your sake. Today every negative events against your life, against your family, against your finance, against your business, against your destiny, against your desire in life, today by decree, change in Jesus name.
7. When you decree, God steps in and stamps it. Isaiah 44:26 (26 That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:)
Conclusion:
The Bible calls you sons and daughters of authority, you have access to the throne of mercy, the throne of grace. You can decree a thing and it shall be established. All it takes is for you to have an open heart, if your heart is pure before God, when you speak heaven listens. Your tongue is anointed to decree and heaven is ready to answer.
PRAYERS:
1. OH LORD, today I receive the tongue of authority, I received the tongue of power, I receive the tongue of decree, whatsoever I decree today let heaven stamp it and let answer come in Jesus name.
2. My Father and my Lord, I decree, every power that want to influence me negatively this year and does not want me to have success this year in the name of Jesus be destroyed by fire.
3. In the name of Jesus, thou power of darkness that want to influence me this year, oh yeah what are you waiting for, give me by fire in Jesus name.
4. I decree that alter raced against me, against my family, against my wife, against my husband, against my children, against my sibling against my love one this year we are by the order of God be destroyed by fire in the name of Jesus.
5. I command by order , thou altar of failure, altar of regret, altar of shame, altar of insult, alter of setback, altar of backwardness, altar of sickness, this year you are not my portion clear by fire in the name of Jesus.
6. I enter the realm and covenant of the blood of Jesus, this new year I have entered. Let the blood be a covering over my life, over my wife, over my husband, over my children, over my children, over my finance, over the labour of my hand, in the name of Jesus.
7. I decree by the order of God, this New Year I am blessed, my life is blessed, my wife is blessed, my children are blessed, the work of our hands is blessed, the labour of our hand is blessed, our family is blessed. This new year, evil shall not befall us, this new year, I shall not be obituary, my wife shall not be obituary, my children shall not be obituary, I will not burry any member of my family. This New year, favour will locate us, success will be our portion, open door will be our inheritance, people will celebrate us, good things will happen to us, we shall be promoted, we shall be lifted, this I decree in Jesus name.
