THE POWER OF PRAYER.
TOPIC: THE POWER OF PRAYER
TEXT: Psalm 91:1-16; Mathew 17:20; Acts 16:16-28; James 5:16-18; Luke 5:16.
Definition: Prayer naturally is said to be talking to God, it is a direct address to God. Prayer is a way the believer in Christ communicates his or her emotions and desires to God and also a way of fellowship with God. Prayer is also a way of strengthening our fellowship with our God.
There are three stages:
1. Worship / Praise
2. Word studying (Reading the Word of God)
NOTE: Prayer is a mighty weapon at the disposal of every man and woman who loves God and knows His Son Jesus Christ and also knows how to make use of it to achieve the purpose and will of God in their lives and family.
