TOPIC: FAMILY UNITY

Definition:
Family unity talks about the coming together of family to be of one love, one mind, one spirit, one goal, and one purpose.
Family unity helps the family to grow closer as they face hardships together, celebrate together, and experience vulnerability with each other. Bible verses about family unity, including Galatians 6:2, instruct families to lean on each other and be there for one another—both in the good and the bad. (2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.)
Common family problems that hinder family unity
1. When one or both parties love arguments, quarrelling and fighting all the time.
2. Not giving reasoning a chance when taking parental decisions.
3. Difficulty balancing your home and your work-life.
4. Difficulty getting the family organized.
5. Lack of proper communication with each other.
6. When the work load of the family and duties in the family are one-sided,.
7. Having no time for the family or being far from them.
8. Having no time for prayer and seeking the face of God.
9. Taking our family decisions outside of God.
Solutions:
1. Understand that God is the center point of every home (family)
2. Always allow the love of God to reign in your family.
3. Learn to listen to each other.
4. Learn to accommodate each other’s nonsense in the family.
5. No matter how eloquent, smart, or perfect you think you are, never play with prayer in your family.
6. Always allow the Holy Spirit to control your Family
Conclusion:
I declare this God promise from Psalm 133:1, “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!” for you and your family in Jesus Name
